i find the reading practice tests are really helpful to me because it works almost the same as the actual toefl ibt test, and the difficulty of the passages are all a little bit harder than the actual test, so it helped prepared really well. |

i took the toefl test for the first time in june 2014 as part of the application for an exchange semester in the united states. my target score was something around 90; i studied on my own, and got 99. when it came time to applying for grad school and the stakes were pretty high, i decided to rely on magoosh. i followed the one-month schedule and found the way it is structured extremely clever. magoosh provided me with a comprehensive preparation through detailed videos and explanations as well as useful exercises and resources (i.e. flashcards, writing samples, speaking samples, etc). in other words, it allowed me to build up me confidence, know what to expect on test day, and develop effective strategies to ace it. go for it! |
