volunteering is something else you can add to a resume. teach little kids how to read at the library. serve food at a homeless shelter. there are tons of fun ways to give back to your community. if you convince your friends to join you, volunteering can be a social opportunity as well.<\/p>\n

take a community college class in something you\u2019re interested in, but maybe didn\u2019t have a chance to take during the school year. now you have the chance.<\/p>\n
of course, you can just take a class for your own knowledge and enjoyment. but you can also take a community college class to prepare you for the upcoming semester. are you worried about learning calculus? if you take a summer class beforehand, you\u2019ll feel a lot more prepared.<\/p>\n
you can also take a class in order to be a great club member. want to take photographs for the school newspaper? take a photography class so you can wow your editors.<\/p>\n

when we\u2019re stressed out by homework during the school year, we aren\u2019t always in the mood to exercise. take advantage of summer break by using it to get in shape.<\/p>\n
if you want to play a sport during the school year, summer is the time to build your skills. you\u2019ll be a valuable member of the team!<\/p>\n

be a tourist at home. if you\u2019ll be heading off to college soon, you never know how much more time you\u2019ll get to spend in your hometown. do all the things you never had a chance to do. eat at great restaurants. go to new parks. plan a fun road trip.<\/p>\n
