every single disney movie ever released.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>pretty esoteric.<\/p>\n<p><em>i know the inner workings of a rocket and the smell of rocket fuel on a hot august night.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>definitely esoteric.<\/p>\n<p><em>i collect pre-world war ii stamps from tiny eastern european countries.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>get a life.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>arcane<\/h2>\n<p>i belong to a society of mathematicians and we know all the secrets of the ancient cult of pythagoras.<\/p>\n<p>arcane = secret, hard to obtain knowledge<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>abstruse<\/h2>\n<p>the topic of quantum physics, in which matter is both present and not present at the same time, is abstruse.<\/p>\n<p>abstruse = difficult to understand<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>recondite<\/h2>\n<p>it\u2019s hard to get any tutoring help in ancient greek, when your task is to translate the works of homer.<\/p>\n<p>recondite = difficult to understand, obscure<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>inscrutable<\/h2>\n<p>he\u2019s got a poker-face; i can\u2019t read him. he\u2019s inscrutable.<\/p>\n<p>(<em>in<\/em> \u2013 not, <em>scrutari<\/em> \u2013 to search)<\/p>\n<p>i have no idea what he is saying. his words are inscrutable.<\/p>\n<p>inscrutable = impossible to understand or interpret<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>enigmatic<\/h2>\n<p>he gave me an enigmatic smile\u2014what exactly did he mean?<\/p>\n<p>the disappearance of ships in the bermuda triangle is enigmatic. how exactly did they go missing.<\/p>\n<p>enigmatic = mysterious<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>conundrum<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cwhat\u2019s a conundrum?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cwhy is it whenever i switch lanes i always end up in the one that gets backed up?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cwhy did the ancient mayans disappear?<\/p>\n<p>\u201chow many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>conundrum = riddle<\/p>\n<p>bad joke: what do you call a percussive instrument that nobody knows how to use?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>cryptic<\/h2>\n<p>let\u2019s say i bought a surprise, but i don\u2019t want you to find out what is. of course, you\u2019ll ask questions: \u201cis it a new ipad?\u201d, \u201cis it a new iphone?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>if i want to play with you a little, i want just give you a yes or no, but i will say something puzzling\u2014yet tantalizing. that\u2019s what it means to be cryptic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cit\u2019s bigger than your palm, but, like most things, it\u2019s smaller than your head.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>or<\/p>\n<p>\u201cyou\u2019ve always wanted it, and you mentioned it to me that one time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>another context: you are playing cards with me and you ask what hand i
