of your application\u2013because less than 4% of students are admitted as of right now! <\/p>\n<p>as far as submitting your sat scores to princeton, you may be happy to know that princeton has a \u201chighest scores\u201d policy, sometimes also referred to as \u201csuperscoring.\u201d with this system, you can choose which tests you send to princeton, and the admissions readers will consider only the highest scores across all testing dates. <\/p>\n<h2>more about princeton act scores<\/h2>\n<p>as mentioned above, the average composite act score at princeton is a whopping 34. <\/p>\n<p>as far as percentiles:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the 25th percentile for princeton act scores is 32<\/li>\n<li>the 75th percentile for princeton act scores is 35<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>this means that a composite score average gpa of students applying to princeton is 3.9, which means you\u2019ll have to earn straight a\u2019s in all of your classes. <\/p>\n<p>you should also have a wealth of honors, ap, and\/or ib classes on your transcript to show that you can keep up with and excel in college-level courses. in fact, depending on <a year. so if you\u2019ve got your eye set on princeton (or any other extremely selective college for that matter), you\u2019ll want to get awesome grades early on and keep them up through the entirety of your high school career. <\/p>\n<h2>more about princeton\u2019s acceptance rate<\/h2>\n<p>princeton is historically very hard to get into, and has been getting harder over the last few years. in fact, for the class of 2025, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyprincetonian.com\/article\/2021\/04\/princeton-college-admissions-class-of-2025-ivy-league\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">princeton admitted a record-low number of students<\/a>, 1,498 &#8212; just 3.98% of applicants! according to the linked article, this is largely due to over 200 students from the class of 2024 deferring their application for a year.<\/p>\n<p>according to karen richardson, dean of admissions, <\/p>\n<p>\u201cwe were incredibly impressed by the talent displayed in this year\u2019s record pool. as a result, we had to make extremely difficult decisions in the process of admitting a class that will come to princeton, form a community and use what they learn to make an impact [&#8230;] in what was a very challenging year, these students showed great resilience, and through their applications they showed a real desire to engage with others in the types of discussions that make princeton such a dynamic environment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>the good news is that princeton is accepting an increasingly diverse group of students because of a more holistic review process (more on this in a moment)<\/p>\n<h2>princeton\u2019s freshman profile for 2025<\/h2>\n<p>princeton&#8217;s class of 2025 is a diverse and impressive group of students. here are a few facts about them:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>52% are women; 48% are men<\/li>\n<li>68% have self-identified as people of color, including biracial and multiracial students<\/li>\n<li>18% are first-generation students, 22% are lower-income students qualifying for pell grants, and 62% qualify for financial aid<\/li>\n<li>14% are international students<\/li>\n<li>64% come from public high schools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>other
