cos(x) = cos(x) + 2pi

this is incorrect and needs to be fixed to be:

sin(x) = sin(x + 2pi)
cos(x) = cos(x + 2pi)

sine and cosine have a range that’s between -1 and 1 and 2pi is outside of that range.
