what are some tips for me to help me improve my score?
i struggle mainly with reading comprehension questions, such as:

~ vocab in context
~ implying the author’s purpose

since you have about a week to study for your sat, i would recommend using our one week sat study schedule. it provides you with daily assignments, as well as resources to use to help you prep quickly.
