how to speed up your morning routine

with finals approaching, you’re probably pretty stressed out, especially in the mornings, when it feels like you have a million things to do and no time to do them.

well, never fear because i’m here to help you get all of your morning tasks done efficiently so that you can minimize as much stress as possible and start your day off on the right foot.

set a schedule and stick to it

figure out how much time it takes you to do each task you need to do, then create a morning schedule that you strictly stick to. you’ll never be late again!

do as much as possible at night

do as many tasks as you can the night before, when you’re slightly more awake and alert than you will be when you wake up groggy in the morning. pack up your bag, plan what you’ll wear if that normally takes you a while, make breakfast and lunch and stick them in the fridge.

go to bed earlier

go to sleep as soon as you possibly can. don’t stay up on facebook for hours after you finish your work. if you’re more well-rested, then you’re more likely to wake up the first time the alarm sounds, with plenty of time to finish your morning routine.

create a morning playlist

fill a playlist with energetic, happy songs that you know will put you in a good mood and wake you up. press play before you have a chance to press the snooze button.
