when you’re signed up for ap u.s. history, you know that you’re going to stay busy throughout the year. you have books to read, dates to remember, themes to explore, and tests to study for. to remember everything that you need to know, get a planner. then, write down the following important apush test dates.
february
if you would like to request accommodations for the exam, you need to submit the request it in february. some of the accommodations available include:
- extended testing time
- larger print
- larger block answer sheets
- use of a braille translator
- assigned reader or writer
- written copy of oral instructions
if you miss the deadline to apply for the needed accommodations, you won’t be able to receive the accommodation that you require. or, the exam score won’t count. submit your request early in february to be sure that you will receive the accommodation by test time.
march 15th
if you are homeschooled or attend a school that doesn’t offer the ap u.s. history course, you need to contact ap services to find an approved ap coordinator. the ap coordinator will find a location for you to take the exam and set up everything for test day.
plan on reaching out to ap services as early as march 1st. but, don’t miss the deadline of march 15th to be sure that you can take the exam on testing day.
may 11th
