you, our next thriving student?

i purchased a couple manhattan prep books, ets's official guide, different phone apps, etc. yet i ended up using magoosh's online application almost exclusively. i work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. i was exhausted most nights after work before i even sat down to study... without the structure that magoosh provides i would not have been able to be nearly as effective. i did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. i scored a 331; what else can i say? magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. it has everything you need, trust me.

magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. i followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. while i couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), i still believe magoosh helped me a lot. i learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, i always had a plan to follow so i couldn't second-guess myself.

the team was extremely patient in answering the questions. even though i pestered them with questions around the same topic, they answered them with the exact information and somehow even more aptly, which definitely helped me.

the videos were really easy to understand and the techniques taught helped me deal with a major issue i had, which was completing the sections in the given amount of time. i also loved how often the trainers reached out to see if i needed any help with my preparation for the test!

i was going to give my gre for first time and i was confused about what to study, how to study. then i heard about magoosh and decided to try it. magoosh was really helpful in my preparation, the video lectures, practice questions, tests all were very helpful. i really liked that with the every question there is an explanation, that helped me a lot whenever i got stuck.

magoosh was such a helpful resource for tackling the gre;! i am so glad i used this program. i originally really struggled with the timing for the math section. what helped me the most was using the practice mode for the math questions and confirming that i understood the concepts behind each question by watching the video lessons associated with them. i also tried to cover all the vocabulary terms as they are very similar to the real exam! knowing the vocabulary terms well helped me to answer the sentence completion questions really quickly and have extra time to read the passages carefully. thank you so much, magoosh!

it was great to see the types of questions that were on the gre before i took it. it was also very helpful for brushing up on math topics that i hadn't seen recently.

i loved magoosh's study plans because they really helped me stay accountable and make progress each day. the amount of work each day was perfect so that i felt like i was making progress little by little. the video explanations were awesome. it really helped me learn the material and they even explained common mistakes.
