i purchased a couple manhattan prep books, ets's official guide, different phone apps, etc. yet i ended up using magoosh's online application almost exclusively. i work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. i was exhausted most nights after work before i even sat down to study... without the structure that magoosh provides i would not have been able to be nearly as effective. i did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. i scored a 331; what else can i say? magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. it has everything you need, trust me.

magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. i followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. while i couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), i still believe magoosh helped me a lot. i learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, i always had a plan to follow so i couldn't second-guess myself.

excellent math practice and videos. i didn't use the verbal or writing materials so i can't speak to those. however, the math materials were incredible and really helped me to improve my score and get a lot more comfortable with the material, types of questions, and test.

it helped improve my timing for the math problems. before, i was taking too much time per problem, so by the end of the time limit, i still would have several questions left unanswered. now, i was able to answer all of the questions and have time to even review a couple.

revised concepts through the videos, and great way to slice/dice the completed question sets to show which concepts i was unfamiliar with and needed more practice

taught me about the test format, helped me learn the question types and types of answers for those questions, and provided practice questions.

without a doubt, magoosh has the most comprehensive gre course content. the video lessons are extremely helpful to achieve a high score in the exam. the most striking feature of magoosh is the quality of their practice questions. tricky practice questions in both quant and verbal sections were instrumental in my success in the real examination. i'd definetely recommend magoosh for any gre test taker.

in one month of studying, magoosh familiarized me with the different kinds of test questions on the gre and gave me the math crash-course i needed after having had no math classes since high school. the video and text explanations were excellent, and i liked the question-timing feature.

gave me access to tons of practice questions that got me comfortable with question formats and concepts. the math explanation and lesson videos were the best though. saved me from needing a tutor.
