you, our next thriving student?

i purchased a couple manhattan prep books, ets's official guide, different phone apps, etc. yet i ended up using magoosh's online application almost exclusively. i work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. i was exhausted most nights after work before i even sat down to study... without the structure that magoosh provides i would not have been able to be nearly as effective. i did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. i scored a 331; what else can i say? magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. it has everything you need, trust me.

magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. i followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. while i couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), i still believe magoosh helped me a lot. i learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, i always had a plan to follow so i couldn't second-guess myself.

magoosh helped me so much!!! i learned so many new concepts from the lessons provided. there were so many things i wasn’t aware that i didn’t know until i started studying with magoosh. the practice tests also helped me a great deal with my pacing. in addition, i had great customer service experiences with the magoosh team. i feel like i really got my money’s worth and more from magoosh!

magoosh helped me by giving me a plan to tackle studying for the gre. the quant and verbal lessons were particularly helpful for me because they explained the type of content the test was testing for.

so helpful i can’t even believe it! i used princeton review for weeks before my first attempt at the test and was hugely disappointed with the results. a few weeks with magoosh and i saw an eleven point score increase! it felt easy to motivate with your premade study schedules, and that plus the review tools (being able to go back over all the problems i got wrong on the first try) was hugely helpful. also i really appreciated how quickly your tutors responded to my emails!

website interface and practice tests were really easy to use. vocab flashcards were very high yield. more flashcards would be even better? math lesson videos were thorough and really useful.

magoosh was great the videos and practice questions were very helpful and i improved a lot. i like the study plan also because it is more structured.

the instructional videos were almost universally helpful and illuminated a lot of things i would never have considered on my own. the lesson plan is incredibly thorough, and the volume of test-level questions is astounding. really pleased with this overall.

it had all the math topics organized very logically and taught me the best strategies. i also used the untimed math practice very frequently and felt that this was really helpful. also i really enjoyed the vocab app and the practice exams!

having questions harder than the exam

the practice tests were great, even though i didnt complete all of the modules. the custom practice sets were good too for untimed practice. probably the best feature is being able to go over questions i got wrong.

i loved how magoosh outlined a 1-month study guide for me. that kept me accountable. also, the encouraging emails were a bonus!

magoosh had a lot of questions that i could practice. my vocabulary increased mostly because i learnt many words in the process of going through all the verbal questions that i did wrong. practicing quantitative problems increased my pace and also helped me reduce the number of silly mistakes i make.

magoosh has a wonderful product and great customer service! magoosh might be the best product i have ever purchased, and i was very impressed to receive responses to my questions/requests almost immediately. the gre prep material helped me tremendously, and was my primary source for study material. the content in the lessons and the practice questions were very helpful, but i believe the greatest aspect of magoosh was the format - being able to take dozens of specialized, computer-based quizzes and section tests. because i work 40+ hours a week, i found the option to take short, specialized quizzes very useful in my efforts to study regularly. i would recommend magoosh to anyone preparing for the gre, and i believe it the best and most affordable option on the market!
