you, our next thriving student?

i purchased a couple manhattan prep books, ets's official guide, different phone apps, etc. yet i ended up using magoosh's online application almost exclusively. i work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. i was exhausted most nights after work before i even sat down to study... without the structure that magoosh provides i would not have been able to be nearly as effective. i did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. i scored a 331; what else can i say? magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. it has everything you need, trust me.

magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. i followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. while i couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), i still believe magoosh helped me a lot. i learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, i always had a plan to follow so i couldn't second-guess myself.

i was terrible at math before. i mean, i took a practice math test and got 0 questions right. and now i have a 159!

i only studied for the gre with magoosh material. it was by far the most efficient way to prepare for it.

magoosh's practice questions are the closest to the actual exam. i was doing princeton review and kaplan questions before and i felt that both books were lacking in quality of content. magoosh's vocabulary flashcard app also helped me tremendously in improving my vocab.

i had no idea where to start with math. it's been five years since college graduation and standardized test math was something i purged from my brain long ago. magoosh made it simple and concise enough to learn.

also, the mobile vocabulary app was awesome. i saw so many of those words on the test.

i had trouble completing the math section on time during practice tests but magoosh gave good tips on how to quickly solve problems. the hundreds of math and verbal practice questions with explanations on magoosh were similar to the actual questions on the test so i was more confident. the vocabulary flash cards also helped since i noticed a few words when taking the gre.

to me, the studying for the gre (at least the math part) was a great exercise in reviewing all the things i have forgotten since high school. the videos (both lessons and answer explanations) were helpful in getting ready for the exam.

great help in vocabulary part, and very representitave questions. in addition to all the personal support and study plans i got. it was just amazing!

it did a excellent job on my comprehension in reading and filling blanks. before i used magoosh, i can't always get the major point about the passage in reading or the key to crack blanks.

i did 90% of my prep with magoosh! aside from two ets practice tests, my studying consisted of magoosh practice problems, videos, and flashcards. i gratefully allocate my successful studying to magoosh's excellent software! the practice problems and vocabulary flashcards were accurate and challenging ways to practice! and the videos provided a great overview in all the areas of study as well as comprehensive strategies for tackling even the most difficult problems.

in addition, i really appreciated the online-medium of prepping for the gre. as the gre itself is computer-based, it really helped to be practicing problems on the screen as opposed to on paper.

magoosh is probably the best test prep available for gre especially for quant. the entire content is very organised and makes the whole preparation process easier and simpler. the video lessons, practice questions, vocab flash card app and blog posts were awesome.

magoosh helped me so much! coming from a political science background, i had not looked at math for 4 entire years! and my math skills weren't great to begin with. so when i first picked up the gre math book, i freaked out because i forgot everything, i mean i couldn't even do basic fractions equations. i panicked and even questioned my own intelligence. i mean i went to a top tier university, did well on sat math, but all the gre math looked so scary. so i started my gre preparation process with magoosh's math video lessons. they were super helpful and easy to understand, it made me remember all the math stuff from back when i was in high school. after watching every single math video, i finally had the basic math knowledge to even tackle the gre problems. i started studying in early january of this year, and i know i could not have done the gre math at all without magoosh's math lessons!

to be honest, i signed up for magoosh on a whim and when i signed up, i was seriously debating between magoosh and another well known in-person prep class. i didn't want to shell out $1500 for a gre class, so i thought i just give magoosh a try, i didn't think that magoosh would help me so much. and because it is an online course, i can fit it in my busy work schedule.

i am happy with the score and is really glad that i run across magoosh. i also told my younger brother, who is taking the sat next year to sign up for magoosh's sat prep.

overall, i just can't say enough good things about magoosh. well worth the money.

magoosh is the best and most efficient way to prepare for your gre test. my first gre score has proven that magoosh is terrific, and i will definitely recommend this site to all the people who are struggling with gre.

lots of practice problems that were harder than the actual exam. did 700+ problems, got the score i wanted. i didn't watch any of the videos, but the text explanations to the solutions were spot on and showed me how to solve those types of problems in the future.

magoosh provides various difficult questions and practicing those questions made me at ease when taking the real gre test.

it did a fantastic job at giving me a multitude of problems and solutions. the videos were well done and the strategies were quite good. the sample problems are probably the closest to the real gre i've seen. i especially loved the verbal flash card app, its the best one i've seen. part of the reason i did so well on verbal was due to that app. i was never any good at learning vocabulary but that app was worth the price of magoosh by itself.

magoosh was all i used to prepare. it provided a realistic timed test environment to practice in, and the questions were right on. magoosh is the best possible study plan.

magoosh helped an unbelievable amount! i hadn't taken the gre in 10 years, and once upon a time my scores were quite good, but had since lapsed. was more than surprised at how much i'd forgotten. when i first started studying about a month and a half ago, i was getting in the 150's in math and around 150 in verbal on practice tests. so, it really gave me a great refresher course as well as taught me some great tricks that i never knew.
