i purchased a couple manhattan prep books, ets's official guide, different phone apps, etc. yet i ended up using magoosh's online application almost exclusively. i work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. i was exhausted most nights after work before i even sat down to study... without the structure that magoosh provides i would not have been able to be nearly as effective. i did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. i scored a 331; what else can i say? magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. it has everything you need, trust me.

magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. i followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. while i couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), i still believe magoosh helped me a lot. i learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, i always had a plan to follow so i couldn't second-guess myself.

score range predicted by magoosh is unbelievable. magoosh premium plan containing custom tests helped me immensely in benchmarking myself for actual gre. magoosh is too good to be true.

magoosh helped tremendously. the math problems were at par with the actual test. relative to other books and study guides, the structure of verbal problems and passages were most similar to the test. the practice tests gave a true feel for the actual exam, especially the accommodations feature.

magoosh made it easy to keep up with studying and actually learn from my mistakes. i was frustrated with my ets book because i spent a lot of time trying to understand why i got problems incorrect rather than quickly learning how to solve the problem and move on. magoosh had great explanations and often had notes about why i might have gotten the wrong answer, which helped me continue to improve at a good pace. when i took the test, i felt well prepared and competent, and i really have magoosh to thank for helping me get the score i hoped for. everyone at magoosh was friendly and responded quickly to questions.

magoosh helped me a lot on both verbal and math. as a non-native speaker, magoosh's methodology on resolving text completion and sentence equivalence questions is excellent and very useful. overall, the difficulty level of magoosh questions is higher than the actual gre test. when you are familiar with the difficulty of magoosh questions, you will find actual gre questions not difficult at all :)

magoosh had excellent content and a huge test bank which helped with the variety of questions on the gre. i also found the blog helpful especially the test taker profiles.

math practice problems were a huge help -- often harder than the actual thing, which was a plus.

its video tutorial and video explanations are excellent and helps a lot in understanding the nuances involved in each questions.
my verbal score improved a lot after solving questions from magoosh.

online portal has very neatly designed structure and ui is flawless and smooth.

magoosh is a saviour!! 160 in verbal was an ambitious target for a non-native speaker like me and i couldn't have done it without magoosh. thanks to chris, kevin and rachel for their timely responses to all my queries. i strongly recommend magoosh for your gre prep.

very helpful..most important were those little tidbits from chris`s blogs which helped a lot.. also the emphasis of not mugging up words but applying them helped a lot..

although i didn't make the most out of magoosh and did very few practice problems and didn't do any practice tests, i felt the math videos were very helpful and served to improve my math score from 650 to 740. i also used the vocabulary flashcards as the primary mode of preparation for the verbal section, and my score improved from a 640 to 710. overall that's an improvement from 1290 to 1450, so i am very happy with my new scores.

the answer explanation videos were extraordinary and very helpful. i liked that both the instructional and answer videos were supplemented with text and faq. being able to customize my math practice tests was very convenient. magoosh tracked my time on each question and i could view the average times for different types of questions to pinpoint the type i needed more practice on.

it helped me revise the maths part that i had forgotten since high school and reminded me of the formulas. and its verbal practice provided many tactics and i could control and improve my speed by the test mode, which is very helpful for my actual test. thank you, magoosh!

the practice questions gave a helpful understanding of what to expect on the actual exam. also, the vocabulary app is incredibly well done and many of the words i learned showed up on the actual exam.

in the beginning, i was quite intimidated by the math portion of the gre, but the magoosh lessons broke everything down into manageable segments that made studying much less overwhelming. the practice problems did a fantastic job of preparing me for the actual exam problems, and i especially liked the step-by-step explanations, which made it easier to learn from my mistakes. i was able to walk into the test feeling more confident than i ever would have expected! i couldn't be more impressed with magoosh, and i would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a way to improve their gre score.

magoosh helped me better understand the style in which ets organizes materials and set questions, and by providing me with highly-difficult-level practices, i think magoosh better prepared me for the real test.

practicing questions on a timed computer-based interface really helps prepare you for the actual test. you learn to manage your time wisely, which is very important. the instructional videos are clear, and the question bank is excellent.
