you, our next thriving student?

i purchased a couple manhattan prep books, ets's official guide, different phone apps, etc. yet i ended up using magoosh's online application almost exclusively. i work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. i was exhausted most nights after work before i even sat down to study... without the structure that magoosh provides i would not have been able to be nearly as effective. i did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. i scored a 331; what else can i say? magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. it has everything you need, trust me.

magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. i followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. while i couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), i still believe magoosh helped me a lot. i learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, i always had a plan to follow so i couldn't second-guess myself.

the lessons were highly insightful and made sure the concepts were taught from the most basic points which helped me to get back in the groove of solving things logically and knowing what went where after returning to studies after 2 years and the best quality about it is the fact that it doesn't claim to be a "one stop" solution for gre and helps in creating an all round approach to the prep itself.

magoosh helped me tremendously in preparation for my gre re-take. by providing numerous questions of varying difficulty levels as well as solution videos to each question, i was able to prepare thoroughly. i found magoosh's online course much better than any coaching centre available to me.

magoosh was helpful for me in building my vocabulary and the questions were really helpful. the blog is a hit.

provided lots of questions of accurate difficulty and relevant content. blogs and question explanations were very helpful. helped me solidify a math foundation coming from a very weak background. provided support in navigating a major hurdle to graduate school.

as a non-native speaker i'm really happy with my recent verbal score. i spent most of my energy preparing for the verbal part because i'm applying for language&literature. magoosh has been really helpful on building up vocabulary, understanding the logic of sentences, and most of all getting familiar with the 'gre thinking'.

i hadn't studied math in 15 years, so the math lessons and practice problems were very helpful. it was a much more engaging way to learn & review than just reading textbooks or study manuals.

magoosh really helped me identifying my weak points and overcoming them with lots of great video lessons and practice questions. saved so much time with magoosh!

magoosh video lessons and the wide variety of questions were a great help in preparing for the gre. magoosh gre flashcards are a must for anybody preparing for gre.

the math practice problems were the best! i was anticipating being rushed for math but found that i had about 4 minutes of time at the end to review. that was great. the verbal section was a breeze. i felt very prepared.

magoosh breaks down every topic to such an easy level that its impossible for you to not understand it! :) i was able to score 165+ in quant all thanks to the amazing videos that magoosh offers! :) also, i had a few doubts here and there which were promptly answered by some amazing magoosh-ers :) thank you :)

such good practice. i'd probably rate it better than manhattan prep, although i used both resources.

very much indeed. i am working, so i needed a condensed material which could give me a through and focused guidance. the material in magoosh was very similar to what i encountered in the test and the setup was also almost the same as the actual gre. the magoosh study plans, vocab flash cards, lectures, practice and custom tests, etc were very helpful.

haven't had to do high-school level math in forever. i needed way more help than the ets book alone provided. the timed feature on the magoosh practice questions and tests was also a life-saver since i tend to dawdle on problems.

question bank was really helpful. maths questions were very much similar to the questions faced on the actual test.

magoosh is a tool that can help people in places where they need help. it is very personalised and that helps in not wasting time. the best part is the video answers for every question. i was very skeptical about improving my score by even 1 or 2 marks but magoosh helped me improve it by 13 points in one month!

magoosh was extremely helpful, right from the app for words to the lessons. they covered every topic from top to bottom, leaving no room for doubt. as for the vocabulary, i've already recommended the magoosh app for flash cards to several of my friends.

the large exercise pool provides a good chance to get myself accustomed to the gre test. the difficulty of magoosh is quite similar to the actual gre test.

magoosh was the primary driver in raising my quantitative score from the high-150s to 170 in just three weeks.

the quantitative videos and practice problems were huge. i browsed through the videos really quickly over a weekend, lessons on topics i hadn't touched in 15 years, and within a couple days i was back in the swing of things. the math practice problems are significantly more difficult than what was on the test, which meant i was overprepared on test day. i got maybe two or three questions out of 40 that would have qualified as "very hard" and i was ready for them.

the practice problems were exactly on point and the reason i signed up for magoosh. i bought both princeton review and kaplan before i knew about magoosh and the math was way too simple. i wish i'd known the first time, it would've saved me so much time and money!

the verbal section was especially great. the video lectures as well as the practice exercises were extremely well-formulated and helped me greatly!

magoosh helped me during my 1-month preparation for the gre. the word lists, the video lectures, the question bank and the thorough explanations of those questions along with the solutions of the og helped me a lot.

email support is an added advantage for doubts and queries.

i would recommend it to everyone preparing for gre as the package has everything required, to start from a scratch up to a more advanced level.
