you, our next thriving student?

i purchased a couple manhattan prep books, ets's official guide, different phone apps, etc. yet i ended up using magoosh's online application almost exclusively. i work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. i was exhausted most nights after work before i even sat down to study... without the structure that magoosh provides i would not have been able to be nearly as effective. i did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. i scored a 331; what else can i say? magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. it has everything you need, trust me.

magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. i followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. while i couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), i still believe magoosh helped me a lot. i learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, i always had a plan to follow so i couldn't second-guess myself.

magoosh helped me to revise each topic i needed to study for gre. plus, magoosh has a wide range of questions, hints and strategies that gave me confidence to tackle every gre question.

it created a great study schedule for me (90 day advanced), often time provided multiple ways to answer one question and made learning fun with videos instead of books only.

magoosh helped me tremendously in preparing me become familiar with the exam format and the material. i loved the videos as they were extremely informative and user friendly in learning the material. i took a magoosh practice test about 2 weeks before my exam and it was spot on. that is impressive!

the 600 verbal practice problems are very helpful! i like the interactivity of magoosh (can’t make myself do 600 problems on paper), and the words in the practice actually show up on the real exam! having the timer and comparison against average pace is helpful- i knew from the beginning that i’m good in speed and don’t need to rush through anything.

the video lessons and explanations for practice problems were extremely helpful as well as how easy magoosh made it for me to track my progress.

very difficult math problems that helped me prep

the lessons were very to the point which really helped. it was more practical than other services. the video explanations after practice problems were great. so was the customization of practice questions/sessions.

tutoring with brian was super helpful, i found the online lessons very comprehensive and easy to follow.

it helps me to clarify the points i don’t understand and improve my comprehensions. it also provides me many math questions that i can practice.

magoosh has a lot of practice questions which helped me to get exposed to a wide range of question types. as i solved through them, i was able to identify my weak areas and work specifically on them. all the instructors did a great job in explaining concepts well in the video modules. the various subject-related blogs were also useful to quickly refresh/understand some concepts.
the support from magoosh is great, i got a reply to my quant related query within 12 hours of posting the question.
the score predictor works great and it predicted my actual test scores accurately.
all in all, i'm really happy that i chose magoosh for my gre prep and with 30 days of focused study, i was able to come very close to my ideal target score.

magoosh practice questions are harder the real test so it’s a good way of pressure learning.
