you, our next thriving student?

i purchased a couple manhattan prep books, ets's official guide, different phone apps, etc. yet i ended up using magoosh's online application almost exclusively. i work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. i was exhausted most nights after work before i even sat down to study... without the structure that magoosh provides i would not have been able to be nearly as effective. i did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. i scored a 331; what else can i say? magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. it has everything you need, trust me.

magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. i followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. while i couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), i still believe magoosh helped me a lot. i learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, i always had a plan to follow so i couldn't second-guess myself.

the video lessons and explanations were absolutely amazing.

the practice tests were incredibly helpful

magoosh was my primary study material and it adequately prepared me with plenty of practice problems and a format that helped my pacing.

i hadn’t solved a math problem since 9th grade so quant was a bug obstacle for me when i decided to prep for the gre. magoosh’s videos helped me so much because it covered all the basics that i was too embarrassed to ask anyone about. all the questions are very similar if not a bit harder than the real test, so the practiced prepared me for teat day alot. i cannot say enough how much magoosh was a help with my test prep.

the video explanations were very helpful! it was nice to get feedback on questions that i had answered incorrectly.

4 point increase explains itself. the difficulty of magoosh practice problems made test day questions feel a bit easier.

magoosh helped me improve in every area of the gre, most significantly in math. it helped me pace myself well, and it’s structure limited the time it took me to learn relevant concepts when i’d make mistakes. my score does not prove or disprove my intelligence nor does yours do for you. that said, we all have to play this game, and magoosh made it so much more manageable and at times, dare i say, even fun.

practice questions help me to best assess my weaknesses and improve, so having a wealth of questions available with solutions and explanations was wonderful

gave me the resources and explanations i needed to understand math after not having done a math problem for over 4 years.

i wanted a reliable source from which to quickly learn and apply the learned techniques in verbal section. with the massive pool of questions and lesson videos, magoosh greatly helped me in improving my verbal score.

magoosh taught me some great math tricks! it also gave me a lot of practice with timing, which definitely helped me get this score!

it gave me a 30-day study plan. it broke math concepts down into digestible segments. it allowed me to choose the level of difficulty for practice questions, so that i could push myself on concepts i was familiar with. and the apps made it easy to study vocab words on the go!

it helped me get into rhythm. math practice really boosted my performance. i combined it with manhattan which i found pretty basic but even there some good tricks you might miss in magoosh.

verbal practicing reading comprehension and learning tricks they have, did help me and improve drastically because its not governed by vocab alone.
i needed 323 and if i decide to retake it i will chopse to go with magoosh except for the vocabulary.

great way to practice problems.

lesson plans were super useful, as well as flash cards and practice questions.

i liked the quick response rate to questions, sometimes even with material outside of magoosh. the videos were really helpful in cementing certain concepts that i took for granted.

vocab, math strategies

great questions, great explanations, great support. nice system with ability to see easy medium hard questions and customize practice.

this was an incredible service! i went through the vocab flashcards at least five times (resetting it each time after mastery), and i while i didn't get a fab math score, it was much better than what i would've received had i not used magoosh. i think my first practice test (prior to magoosh study) i scored below the 30th percentile in math!
