although you will need to understand how words are used—and some of these words will be academic—you won't be directly tested on vocabulary words. instead, review grammar and punctuation and get lots of practice answering questions.

it doesn't hurt to review vocabulary, but don't go this direction unless you've totally set on grammar, punctuation, and organization.
